Litchfield County is hands-down one of the most beautiful parts of Connecticut. In Q1 2022 the average sales price was $456,134 and that fell 2% in Q1 2023 to $446,573. While that is a slight decline in the market (due to recent interest rate hikes) keep in mind that Litchfield County is primed to come back big when interest rates fall a little bit; the average days on market (how long it takes to sell a home) declined in the same time period 21% from 82 days to 65 days. Units sold declined an incredible 26% from 492 homes to 364.
