Fairfield County is the financial hub of Connecticut and the part closest to Manhattan. It offers numerous large as well as quaint towns with many excellent school systems. In Q1 2022 the average sales price across the county was $893,184 and that slid 2.8% in Q1 2023 to $868,100. However, the median sales price has held steady and unchanged YoY at $580,000.
